Before you start  
 

 

1. Make sure you are using HTML email format. You can tell the email format from the message title when you create a new message. For HTML email format, you should see "Untitled - Message (HTML)", otherwise you will need to switch the email format to HTML.

 

To switch to HTML email format

1. From Outlook, go to Tools menu and click Options ...

2. In the Options window, click Mail Format tab.

3. In the dropdown list, select HTML and click Apply.

 

 

2. Make sure "Send Pictures From the Internet" is not selected for each message. This is setting applies to the current message only. To make this setting permanent in Outlook, click here to see a step by step guide.

 

 

 

 
  How to send a live webpage from the website?  
 

 

1. Navigate to the webpage from the Internet Explorer.

 

2. Copy & paste the entire webpage into Outlook message. Save the message and close the message window. Then re-open the message saved from the Drafts folder.

 

3. From GoMail menu, either

   3.1 Select Distribution File, if sending to text or Comma Delimited Values (CSV) file.

   Or

   3.2 Select Distribution List, if sending to the Outlook Distribution List.

 

4. Use 'Send GoMail' button to send the message.

 

You can use GoMail "Message Preview" menu to view how the received message will look like before sending.

 
     
  How to send a page from Microsoft Word, Publisher?  
 

From Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher, email yourself the page you want to send to your Outlook Inbox. This imports the webpage into Outlook email for you. From your Outlook Inbox,

1. Forward the received message to edit before sending.

2. Save & close the message. Reopen the message from the Drafts folder.

3. Select Distribution File/List and then click Send GoMail button to send.

 
     
  How to send a webpage that is located on my computer?  
 

1.  From Outlook View menu, select Toolbars then select Web

 

2. After step 1, you should see the Web toolbar added to Outlook. Type the full path to the webpage in the address bar and press enter. The webpage will be displayed in Outlook Today area.

For webpage located on the network or shared drive, the webpage may not load into the Outlook Today area but launching the webpage in the Internet Explorer. You will need to save the complete webpage to your local disk drive. 

 In this example the webpage is i:\test\test files\sample newsletter\doc2.htm

 

3. Click "Send Web Page By E-mail" from the Actions menu. The webpage should now be imported into Outlook message ready for sending with GoMail.

 

4. Save the email and close the window. Then re-open the message from the Drafts folder. You are now ready to send from 'Send GoMail' button.

 

5. From the GoMail menu, either

   3.1 Select Distribution File, if sending to text or Comma Delimited Values (CSV) file.

   Or

   3.2 Select Distribution List, if sending to the Outlook Distribution List.

 

6. Use the 'Send GoMail' button to send the message.
